Advance Golf Partners purchases Gleannloch Pines in Spring; $1M+ Renovation, Rebrand, and New Leadership Announced

A new era has officially begun for one of Northwest Houston’s most cherished golf courses. Gleannloch Pines Golf Club in Spring was acquired by Advance Golf Partners in June, ushering in exciting upgrades, a refreshed brand identity, and a renewed vision for the club’s future. As part of the transition, the club has unveiled a new name and logo, now officially known as Gleannloch Golf Club. The rebrand modernizes the club’s look and feel while honoring the history and natural beauty that have made it a fixture in the Spring-Klein community just south of The Woodlands, for more than two decades. Cypress Lakes Golf Club officially closes after real estate developers purchase the land

Cypress Lakes Golf Club offically saw it's final balls in the air back on July 6, 2025. After more than 20 years as a beloved local course in Cypress, Texas the property has been sold to a developer, ending its run as one of Houston’s hidden golf gems. Known for its challenging 18-hole layout, water features, and friendly atmosphere, the course was once praised as a “Best Kept Secret” in Houston golf and noted for its “superb greens” by the Houston Chronicle. The course was also utilized as one of several layouts used by Cy-Fair ISD for their high school golf matches, and sometimes as a local playoff site by the UIL.
